Background

Craig Darroch (FCIPD) has had a strong relationship with 星空体育官网 spanning 17 years. Within that time, he has commissioned multiple executive education engagements and has been a vocal supporter of the work Centrica delivers with CED (formally CCED). Currently he is the Director of Culture and Leadership for Centrica. This senior role affects every one of their 20,000 employees, as he leads the creation and roll out of their new organisational purpose, culture, values and leadership.

As Craig鈥檚 career has developed, he has continually taken on more senior roles that have increasing visibility and impact within some of the largest companies in the world. As the Head of Senior Leadership Development for Shell he worked with 星空体育官网 School of Management to forge a strategic partnership that enabled us to deliver the consistently successful Shell Project Academy. As BG Group鈥檚 Head of Learning & Development, he was coauthor of the BG Group EFMD Excellence in Practice submission that saw 星空体育官网 win the highly prestigious Gold for leadership development. His track record of senior level appointments means that Craig will bring a wealth of unique industry experience and expertise to the University.

Craig is both well-known and highly regarded within the practitioner community and consequently is a regular speaker on panels and L&D platforms. He is renowned for bringing great insights into the strategic issues organisations face regarding human capital and its development, along with strong vision and ideas as to how they can be tackled. Craig is already part of a senior leader network that CED has developed, who advise us on current trends and issues faced by organisations. This directly informs how we face the market and what offers, products and services to create.
